The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be verbally and plenarily inspired, inerrant, infallible, and the final authority for faith and life. The Scriptures reveal God to man and shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official translation used by the Church.
Dispensationalism
We believe that the Scriptures, interpreted in their natural, literal sense, reveal divinely determined dispensations or rules of life which define man’s responsibilities in successive ages. These are not different ways of salvation, but divinely ordered stewardships. The three major dispensations are: the age of Law, the age of the Church, and the age of the Kingdom.
The Godhead
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All are co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
The Person and Work of Christ
- We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He came to redeem sinful man.
- We believe His redemption was accomplished through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, followed by His literal resurrection from the dead.
- We believe that Christ ascended into Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God as our High Priest, Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.
The Person and Work of The Holy Spirit
- We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, and seals believers until the day of redemption.
- He is the Divine Teacher who helps believers understand and apply the Scriptures.
- He bestows spiritual gifts to every believer for the work of ministry.
The Total Depravity of Man
We believe man was created in the image of God, but through Adam’s sin, inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God. Man is totally depraved and unable to remedy his lost condition.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God, received by personal faith in Jesus Christ, whose shed blood on Calvary provides forgiveness of sins.
The Eternal Security and Assurance of Believers
- The redeemed are kept by God’s power and are secure in Christ forever.
- Believers may rejoice in their salvation, but Christian liberty should never be an excuse to sin.
The Church
- The local church is the body and bride of Christ, composed of born-again believers.
- The establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught in Scripture.
- We believe in the autonomy of the local church, free from external authority
- We recognize baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as ordinances of obedience.
Seperation
We believe that all saved people should live in such a way as not to bring reproach upon their Savior, separating from all religious apostasy, worldly pleasures, and sinful practices.
The Second Advent of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Christ, who will rapture His church prior to the seven-year tribulation. Afterward, He will return with His saints to establish His Messianic Kingdom.
The Eternal State
- All men will be bodily resurrected — the saved to eternal life, the unsaved to everlasting punishment.
- The souls of the redeemed go immediately to be with the Lord at death, awaiting resurrection.
- The souls of unbelievers remain in conscious punishment until the final judgment, when they will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
Creation
We believe God created the universe in six literal days. We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution.
Civil Government
We believe God ordained three basic institutions: the home, the church, and the state. All are answerable to God and sovereign in their respective biblical responsibilities.
Human Sexuality
We believe that God commands sexual intimacy only within marriage between one man and one woman.
- We reject homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography as sinful.
- We believe it is sinful to condone same-sex marriage or alter one’s gender.
Marriage (Union Between One Man and One Woman)
We believe in the sanctity and holiness of marriage.
Missions
We believe the Church has a Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.
Lawsuits Between Believers
We believe Christians are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christians or the Church. Personal disputes should be resolved within the Church.
Giving
We believe every Christian is a steward of God’s wealth and is obligated to support the church financially. The tithe is a biblical basis for giving, and offerings should be given cheerfully and sacrificially.
